MEET DR. HUBBARD

Dr. Reggie Hubbard is a 20-year retired Naval engineer who continues to live by the Navy Core Values of Honor, Courage and Commitment. Prior to his current appointment as the Leadership, Diversity and Inclusion Officer (LDIO) with the Coast Guard, Dr. Hubbard served a four-year appointment with the U.S. Census Bureau where he held multiple positions in support of the 2020 Decennial Census (2016-2020). Prior to this appointment, he served as the Diversity and Inclusion chair for AMSEC, LLC. Located in Hampton, Virginia. There he framed and led diversity and inclusion initiatives focused on racial equality, gender equality, veteran outreach, women’s rights, disabled citizens and veterans, LBGTQ rights and multi-generational workforce. 

 

As a Program and Project Manager, Dr. Hubbard has pushed organizational strategic goals and objectives in the fields of Human Resources, Engineering, Technology and Training and Development. He is experienced in leading projects with predictive or agile life cycles. His ability to assist organizations from the Strategic Planning level down to the Operational and Project Management level allow him to impact companies and promote change at the company, team, and individual levels. 

 

Dr. Hubbard has acquired many professional certifications in the Project Management Field (PMP, PMI-ACP, and PMI-RMP), the Human Resources Field (CCMP, PHR) and in the Field of Talent Development. He also received his Doctor of Business and Strategic Leadership from Regent University. His course of studies focused on Leadership, Equal Opportunity, Diversity and Inclusion, Organizational Culture and Business Analytics. Dr. Hubbard has also developed Leadership Development Plans (LDPs) focused on the skills and competencies leaders will need to thrive in a fast-paced, volatile business environment.
